The Return of the Bear - #FredIsBack

Jessica Deutschmann, Vice-President of the FIDI 39 Club Board, has some exciting news: #FredIsBack !

Eight years ago, we lost someone very dear. Fred, a handsome young teddy bear, was the mascot of the FIDI 39 Club. He started his journey in the mid-nineties when the FIDI 39 Club was still the 35 Club.

He would travel the world and visit his FIDI friends near and far, who would then show him around, take pictures, give him some presents to take with him, and then send him on another exciting trip.

But eight years ago he suddenly and mysteriously disappeared.

Nobody has heard from him since. Life without Fred wasnâ€™t easy. There was an empty place at the FIDI table. The events werenâ€™t quite the same without him. Even the photos seemed strangely empty without his little furry face.

So you can imagine our delight when, in May of this year, he reappeared!

And just because he went missing, he is still ready for more adventures â€“ but this time with his FIDI friends!

He has got big plans and wants to see all of his old friends again and make some new ones to tell all his stories to.

Therefore, keep your eyes open! We have the feeling you will soon have the pleasure of meeting him.
